So, no, I don't think bullying is better just because it is AAP.
FCPS don't care, only they care about paycheck.

Is there the same amount of bullying in AAP as in general ed? Very likely not.
You all can’t be this stupid. You really think some IQ score makes you more or less prone to being mean to others? You think that kids who are in a class with other kids that scored well on some tests are less likely to be cruel to others. Take a look at the world around you. By your reasoning, no student at Harvard or Stanford should worry about bullying behavior, but at the community college, it would be rampant.
Stop rationalizing your desire to segregate your own kids but still maintain your “woke” status. I’ve taught 5th & 6th grade for almost 25 years. The meanest behavior I’ve seen was from the “smartest” kids. They knew which buttons to push in other kids and how to fly under the radar with nasty behavior.
If you had bothered to read these posts, you would have seen that most people acknowledge that bullying exists in AAP.
Stuff like which kid has the uncool brand of pocket protector or last years calculator model.

My son had a long bus ride to the AAP center and got bullied on the bus. A couple of weeks before school was going to end, someone hit him hard on the back

AAP kids absolutely bully other kids. My DS is in an AAP program and faced this problem multiple times. He was bullied at a new school in his AAP class. He also bullied another kid in class because the "cool" kids did and he wanted to badly fit in. Neither situation was right. We have had extensive conversations with him about both situations and continue to keep an open dialogue about it. It is so tough being a parent today. I am trying to hold off on all social media/smart phone requests for as long as possible.
