The police station is next to the school because it shares space with the Community Center/Library/Town Hall.

Now, I'm not going to pretend that the skate park/rec area near the PBES playground doesn't get a little rough, but that's nothing to do with Piney Branch. It's just....teenagers. They smoke and curse and are generally hard to be around. That's not unique to the neighborhood.


Weird, my kids who are young play in that park all the time but I've never noticed any of this. We also never really go over to the skatepark, but also I lived most of my adult life in cities so think my baseline expectations may be a bit different than the PP who likely lives in one of those segregated neighborhoods.

Haters got to hate, and there are some posters who want to sew fear and misinformation. As an earlier poster said, the best thing you can do is check out these schools for yourself.
