I can't stand the "Happy Father's Day to the man who always puts his family first" posts when I have heard the mom complain for years that the dad is selfish and never wants to do what the kids want to do, etc. It's so contrived and fake, it drives me nuts.
Yea at this point I almost think anyone who posts something super sappy is over compensating. On Sunday, I listened to my sister complain about her s/o's checked out parenting and then an hour later she posted how great of a father he is. Like, what?

Seriously, social media is stupid. I post occasionally, normally when I feel the need to give someone a shout out or if something happens that I want people to know about, and I think people who post a lot (including as often as you do, OP) to be kind of cringy but I just roll my eyes or don't go on social media.
The fact that you spend any time thinking about this and most of your OP defending why your social media posts are ok but other might not be is kind of obnoxious. That's just my two cents.

What type of posts annoy you the most?
I have some friends that post everything, like multiple posts for soccer, swim, tennis, etc. I don’t really mind them but they are literally the exact same post over and over again for YEARS.
I guess we also post similar boring pictures. The same family with different backgrounds.
I probably post a little more than you, but less than I did five years ago. Sometimes I post about food or movies, sometimes about the kids. This seems normal to me.
Can 100% guarantee you that the most annoying parents are the ones who post EVERY award and accomplishment. Once I asked myself, "OK, if I don't post about this NHS induction, did they really make it?" And then I never bragged about the kids again on social media.
