Not surprising from a swim parent. Some are really nice. Others are like the above. For our pool, whatever you swim for the A meet, you CANNOT swim for the dev meet. If someone beats your Sat time on Monday night, you are out.

For the competitive parents, maybe.
I had kids on both the A team and the B team on one of the most competitive NVSL teams. I hated every swim meet and went only for the kids. The parents were awful. I am so glad it's behind me.
