Dog feces Has a large amount of nitrogen in the excrement. It’s near impossible to scoop it all up so there are remnants all over your grass blades. The nitrogen is what can kill the grass. It’s also within pee but the P gets more diluted.
Maybe it’s different with different dogs, but my grass only dies where my dog has peed in the same spot more than once. It hasn’t died where he’s pooped.
