1. Raise the threshold of DC-based contributors for Fair Elections. It's 150 DC-based donors + $5,000 in contributions from DC donors at the Ward level. Make it 250 donors.
2. Raise the necessary number of signatures to get on the ballot in open races. It's 250 at the Ward level. Make it 500 for open races. Keep it at 250 when the incumbent runs.

There should be runoff elections if the top vote getter doesn’t get 50%. That’s the easiest solution.

I'm torn on ranked choice voting. I do think the bar should be higher for candidates to receive public campaign financing. I'm sick of these candidates running vanity campaigns with taxpayer money just to raise their name ID. Marcus Goodwin, Sabel Harris etc etc
