Oh noooo. Those terrible developers who built nice buildings and new restaurants and who helped drive down the crime rate through urban renewal. They’re the worst! We need more subsidized housing on every block!

He's running as an independent, so can't vote for him in the D primary.
Robert White sucks.
Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Robert White. Bowser is completely unaccountable, especially on schools. It took her getting shamed by an 18 yo on Twitter to fix a Jackson-Reed bathroom that was flooded for weeks and to fix an alarm that was going on off in the school for months. She’s a failure. I want her out.
Wait. The Mayor has to fix these things? There’s no one further down the food chain who can help handle getting this kind of thing fixed, like the school administration? DCPS? ANC Commissioner? Mary Cheh?

That is my concern.

Same.
I would love someone to tell me what they like about R White that’s not “he’s not bowser”. He seems to have placed himself to the left of bowser on a lot of issues (crime, covid, etc…), which I really don’t want for our city. I would consider voting R or 3 rd party, but know nothing about those candidates.
I don't think he's that different from Bowser on specific issues. The problem with Bowser is that she's half-assed just about everything. Her policies are always more show than substance when you scratch the surface. White strikes me as far more genuinely caring and interested in policies that work.
