That is a really strange thing to say. Goulet has no ties to Ward 3. None. His campaign is being funded by out-of-state -- and in some cases, out-of-country -- interests. And I don't care how rich you are, if you drop a quarter of a million dollars, you expect something in return.

I don’t know about anyone else, but I received a political poll via text on Friday night. I’ve been getting a lot of those but this was short and only about the Ward 3 race. I wonder who funded it/ if it got back to her.

He has zero clue about w3 schools. That is the most important issue for many of the families around here. I really don't care about charter schools or whatever he seem to know so much about. I really don't think a W3 CM should really be leading about an issue that barely affects us.

Yup, the combo of the flood of money to Goulet and her support hitting a ceiling killed it off. It seems like Goulet/Monash/Thomas are still splitting up support on the more conservative side. I bet bergmann follows Duncan. He is young and probably will run again for some city office. That consolidates the 'normal' center-left democrats (by W3 standards). Open Q if the progressives (really only Beau, but also the high schooler is also there) follow and throw support behind Frumin.
