You can buy Toyota MSRP, just a little harder.

Not Sienna.

Koons Toyota is really gouging with huge mark ups over MSRP. It's seems so unethical.

What do you mean "a little harder"? You mean checking in with a number of dealers? Is Rav4 one of the models I can get MSRP?

Yes you can. May be a little harder for the Sienna, but there are some dealerships that do sell them at MSRP. Jack Taylor's Alexandria does and their SmartPath currently shows one is available for purchase at MSRP. Have no clue how long it will take to get there, but they will sell it for MSRP.

I think probably Pilot and Cx9 because both are the very end of the model run.

It will just return no results. Essentially useless right now.

You can pay sticker, but definitely won’t get them right off the lot. There are years long wait lists for some of these.

Any preferred brands?

Some dealers keep cars on the lot for test drives but not all do. You should look at other dealers further out. Looks like dealers up in Baltimore area had more on the lot.

OP here. I’m looking for a midsize 3 row SUV or minivan under $50k. I can’t believe I just had to type that number out. I’m not paying a deposit or ordering something sight unseen. Replacing an old minivan.

How about the Pilot?

Brown’s in Arlington has one you can test drive:

Not sure about lead times for Pilots. I’m guessing dealers will get more inventory this fall with the new model year.

If you want it ASAP then what about used?

Or check CarMax:

We put down a $500 refundable deposit for a Subaru. If it is a desirable car they'll be able to sell it to someone else as soon as it hits the lot.

Yeah, you order the car, but the deposit is refundable (check with dealer but it’s the law in many states). When the car is delivered they call you and you test drive it. Then if you don’t want to buy, they refund you the deposit and sell it to someone else, probably same day. But nobody is making you buy the car you ordered. It’s sort of like buying a clothing item online, trying it out, not a good fit you hand it back to dealer.

How do you bypass a dealership and order from the factory?
