Depends on mood and what's on the menu and what I'm eating. Water, wine, cocktail, beer...there is no hard and fast rule and I'm glad to always have a choice.

If it's corona with lime, I can have a good time. If it's a $900 bottle of wine picked by pixie fairies at the first sign of the harvest moon and aged for 3.14159 years in barrels made from the feathers of blue footed boobies, I can also have a good time.

I don’t have a “boat drink” as I don’t have any friends with boats. I feel like a chilled bloody mary with old bay might be a good boat drink.

OP- what’s your deal with wine? Why cant you imagine people drinking wine on a boat?

No drinking on my catamaran except water.

And sometimes seawater.

You are sensible. This forum is full of insecure social climbers.

We keep a variety of alcohol and mixers on our sailboat. Most people just want beer or wine.

Wine spritzer if I’m day drinking. Straight up wine at night.

Usually wine. Sometimes a margarita or a gin & tonic. I don't like beer, but DH would drink a craft beer in any of those locations.

Same as I’d drink in any other restaurant , either white wine or beer.

My summer cocktail is a gin or whiskey Rickey. My summer beer is Optimal Wit. I will also drink a white wine or rose.

Vodka tonic or Truly. Or whatever beer the host has stocked.

I'd drink a white or rose in any of those locations.

Hard seltzers are pretty popular summer drinks for boats and backyard parties, so I'd probably drink one of those unless the crowd or location was more upscale.
