My insurance reimbursed them because they were prescribed (and/or because it was before my insurance had set up the way to get tests with no up front cost so they had to pay full-freight, not just $12/per, because I ordered them 1/15/22). I had to appeal the denial, but I got payment in full.

There is not testing on domestic travel or when going from US to Canada. So half your trip would have involved flying with people who hadn't tested.
a negative antigen is really not very good reassurance anyway. Friend just tested positive by PCR after 3 negative antigen tests and she is symptomatic.
