I think he is too old to play in the IAC next year.

Regardless if he is eligible or not, I do think Bullis will be the top program in the DC area next spring as Bellistri is the best coach in the area by a mile.

Prep losing their FOGO will hurt them more than most are expecting for next Spring. Their fogo dominated opposing teams for the past 2 seasons, giving Prep the ball nearly 80% of the time.

Landon, offensively should be very solid, 3 kids in their 2024 class were their leading point producers. Defensively, I assume they could really struggle. Losing their goalie and the Ohio State d-man to graduation will open up very big holes.



Confused, the Bullis Princeton commit is listed by Princeton as a class of 2023 commit. Why would he NOT be coming back to Bullis. Although why would Bullis be any better than any of the other top IAC, WCAC schools next year even with him? Last season all of the teams were within a few goals of each other anyway and team A beat team B but lost to team C who beat team A and so on and so on. Other than SJC last year was wide open.

Attackman leaving Landon will likely never play attack at St. John's, if he plays, it will have to be at midfield.

Bullis will be good, but we shall see. They lost the best field player in the league in the Mueller boy. St. Albans will have a very solid back end, but how will they generate offense. Prep will always be in the mix. I think it is still a three way race, Bullis, Prep, and Landon with St. Albans in fourth again. Remember, St. Albans did beat Landon this year, but they still finished last in the regular season in the IAC. Let's wait until St. Albans makes the final of the tourney before we start crowing about them.

It will be interesting to see what Bullis brings in, and how long that show will last with a headmaster who has reigned in the athletic Dept.
What do they say on Yellowstone .. Whoa.


People have been banking on the Bullis admin to turn its back on lacrosse for a while. I wouldn't hold your breath. I don't think it phases Coach Bellistri either way as he finds a way. Went undefeated this year in the IAC with a younger team.

I am not sure why Bullis is the clear favorite. Don't they lose Wade? The OSU Commit is very good, but what are the pieces around him? They will be strong at the faceoff X, that is one place where they will likely be the best in the league.

The IAC next Spring should be the same as it was this year: Bullis will be the clear frontrunner. GP and Landon will duke it out for 2nd and 3rd place, Prep will have the slight edge over the Bears.

Where things might change is in the bottom of the conference. St Stephens graduated several star players who were starters the past two seasons, the Saints will be in rebuilding mode for next Spring. Perhaps, STA can finally make the jump from being in the bottom of the conference to being in 4th place.

I have zero visibility on what Episcopal brings back.

STA has to remain healthy to have any chance getting out of the bottom of the IAC. They have four decent 2023s, but zero depth, so if anyone gets hurt (as many teams, including STA, experienced this year), they are back in the middle/bottom of IAC. The difference between STA and the IAC powerhouses is depth. STA loses one or two players they are done for, other top teams lose a player or two and they can recover with solid backups. Four decent players will not get you far enough in IAC to be relevant. Kids get hurt, kids get tired, opposing teams figure out your weakness, opposing teams shut down your strengths, etc. STA remains middle of the pack, if they stay healthy.

The post is confusing is the player a rising freshman who applied then just changed schools and never attended or a rising sophomore who changed schools and re-enrolled as a freshman it is not clear.
