Yup this.
Per the advice of my acupuncturist, I also talked out loud to the baby.
“I’m ready for you. You have a clean bed, clothes, and I wiped out the fridge. I bought you diapers yesterday!”
It was very cathartic, and my acupuncturist said that the baby will not come until it knows and feels that you are completely ready. I was surprised when I was walking and talking how much I let go of any of my internal worries. It is one of my fondest memories, walking and walking for miles and miles talking to my precious baby.

I'm really surprised OP's OB gave her the go ahead.
Presumably because nothing she’s looking to do is actually going to induce labor before the baby is ready. There are things you can do to help ready your body but they’re not going to make you spontaneously go into early labor.
