You have obviously never been through menopause or had it really bad. I went through a year of sailing sweats.

I found that cotton percale sheets were good, but cotton nightgowns and pj's were awful. They would become soaked and then I would have a cold flash.

Actually the thin rayon plus spandex pjs or gowns wicked and dried out faster and we're less hot and soggy. Several were just cheap sleeveless aline summer dresses from target. Would keep an extra one by the bed and change out in the middle of the night as needed.

Go to your doctor and ask them to give you progesterone.

Soma cool nights line is the best I’ve found. They are a cotton blend I think? 🤔 All cotton just holds the sweat and then I’m soaked at night.

You may also want to try the mens undershirts from pact , they are much thinner than woman’s sleep shirts and cotton poplin shorts.

Sheets - I like cotton sateen from lands end or the brooklinen ones

I’m in my 30s and have had drenching night sweats since my 20s. I don’t know why! I sleep naked with just a sheet with the thermostat set low. I keep a large thick scarf next to me and spread it out over the wet for the second half of the night. I have not sound the material of the sheets to make any difference at all. I have a thick cotton mattress pad under the sheet that I wash regularly.

Where you do find these magical cotton pajamas because I have been looking and looking and I can't find any.

I've looked at the Soma Cool Nights pjs too. I'm either hot or freezing. I give up.

NOTHING ARTIFICIAL.

Please, get this into your thick heads and don't believe the marketing. I've said this before, but anytime a fabric is called "cooling" and "wicking" and "breathable"... it's really not.

Linen or cotton percale sheets. Thin cotton clothing.

PP here. I also use a gel cooling pillow and a fan. I take a small fan with me when I travel.

+1

Also have a sleep number bed with the cooling feature add on.

There are a lot of foods that trigger hot flashes, and alcohol triggers too. One reason I skip dinner now, virtually everything triggers hot flashes.
