VA Metro is good for all Divisions, Pride is, umm.. lets say, still working out the kinks in recruiting. Many on Capital A go D1, but a lot of the B team go D3. If you want D3 you can do the research on the type of school and most of the outreach on your own.
MC Elite has a strong recruiting record and most of the girls are on the field freshman year, testimony to development and coaching. The 23s wanted D3 so no bashing needed. 2022 Michigan recruit is Under Armour All America.
I read a lot of posters in the past talk about how good Capital B team is. Sounds like they are not getting the D1 talent. Don't need a Capital car magnet for D3 or the hassle that goes with it. Cardinal, VA Metro, 3D, yes VA One can all get D3 looks
There are some from the Cap B team that go D1, but the real D1 talent is on the A team as they play against and are seen at the best tourneys. If D1 is what you want, then, by all means go for Capital A. VA Metro does a good job at that, too. If you want D3, than you can work it from almost any club. Capital will have more commits (all divisions) from its B team than any other club, but it it 💯 possible to play in college from another club.
The argument has been made that, for recruiting, it would always be better to play on an A team (VA Metro for example) than play on any B team, including Capital.

referring to club as a whole, plenty of success, this post was about about club success, not a particular age group. If y r a too 5 player at Capital who willAnonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:OP was said D3.

Nobody was bashing. But the difference between 1 or 2 players on D1 track from MC Elite versus most from Capital is vast.

Absolutely not! By no means is Capital the only club for the college track.Anonymous wrote:So most of the responses don't answer OP - is it Capital only for the college track?

Locally, yes. And even then, you have to be a starter on Capital A team to get into the one of the top 25 D1 (I can't see picking any of the D1 schools below that or over a NESCAC or other great D 3). Take a look at the 2021 Insta posts. Quite a number of NESCAC. You won't see nearly as many top D1 and NESCAC placements from any other local team. The top 1 or 2 MC Elite and Pride players may get offers, but very few. Otherwise, if top D 1 is the goal and you want to expand beyond Capital, you have to look to Hero's or M&D. Good luck. It is not a whole lot of fun by the time you get to sophomore and junior year. Just keep that in mind.
