I completely agree. So bland. Every once in a while I’ll try it again and am always disappointed.

Not quite what you asked, but, one of my favorite restaurants was ShopHouse. I would resurrect ShopHouse throughout the DC area and expand it thoughtfully.

You need to go to places where South Indians live or go to. Philadelphia for example has some good idol places.

It isn’t good. If you want good kabobs, try Kabob Palace.

I moved away 10 years ago & I miss the downtown lunch spots like Teaism.



My city’s lunch scene is all fast food or fast casual chains.
