Marco Stilli with TTR Sotheby’s is great. Used him to buy two houses and sell one in your target areas. He lives in AU Park and may have leads on to-be-listed houses. Also does renovation projects so very knowledgeable about contractors, etc.

We like Cleveland Park but the inventory has been so low, I'm not sure anything will come to market in next 30-60 days, so that is why we're looking more broadly. My son will be in private (and a teen driving, so parks/ playgrounds etc less important) and my partner and I work remotely, so we don't need to be close to metro, but are coming from a walkable city so would prefer the metro and shops walkable / bikeable.

We bought from her- she was a shark for her client - which I think is largely what you want.

I think she is a great listing agent. But the op needs a great selling agent. She is not a good referral for that.

Person who first brought up MDS, 1) she gets the best deal for her sellers at least in our experience as a buyer from her 2) she has a lot of listings in this area so if you want pocket listings it makes sense to secure her as the buyer agent (you will have to waive the double agency or figure out something within her brokerage I imagine)

I’m talking about their organizational culture and history. Much more than any other firm, they grow out of WOTP DC, so they start with and build on deep local networks. Compass, by contrast, is the big juggernaut of global finance capital eating everything. I can’t say for sure that WFP will be right for you, but as someone closer to this world, I’d recommend you look at some of their agents and see if they appear like a good fit.
