It’s a big company, easily found. Operates in the near suburbs. 1*

A devastating thread on Whittle, "the notorious flim-flam artist."

Wow. Just wow. I had no idea the depth.

So one point, this Whittle guy got the President at Yale to quit and come work for him but people are mad that the new Maret head worked for Whittle for a year or two? 😂😂

As the thread illustrates, whittle’s history of grift & failure was well known for a long time when he hired folks for the DC school.

Who knew that Anderson Cooper was such a cutie?

Anonymous wrote:Agreed, the Twitter thread by Kevin Carey is genius… Carey really has a solid understanding of Chris Whittle’s sketchy history. He should’ve been consulted for the Washington Post article.

I’m curious as to if Whittle has some connections to major publications like the Washington Post. Why else would they fail to properly cover the school’s many problems? And take so long to publish anything? This situation could literally be made into a Netflix documentary.

Because a failed for-profit grift from a serial grifter isn’t really that interesting to most folks. The DC private school community is really very tiny, despite what many folks in it may believe.

There are people here who will read that and say “it’s still better than public school” and send their kid off to educational oblivion.
