What does this mean?

Yep, one bath for the entire home if you use the basement for guests or as a rental.
Not just that, the basement bathroom wasn't renovated.

A friend put a bid in that escalated to slightly over asking and it was rejected. I think they thought they could start a bidding war on this property, which is insane because the asking is perfectly priced. It sounds like they are making a big mistake. One more week on the market and everyone will be convinced there is something really wrong with this property.
There was only one offer to begin with. The seller/agent are greedy and want peak price from a few months ago. Should've listed earlier, now it is gonna cost them.
There were more this week. I don't know why they think after 3 weeks they will miraculously get an influx of bids with super high escalation clauses if this last batch didn't satisfy them above asking. Such a stupid tactic, if you can call it that.
Seller's realtor is Marjorie Dick Stuart, btw for those of you on the other thread.
Could you please share what Marjorie Dick Stuart indicates? I have seen her name around.

Is basement an ADU and/or a completely separate entrance? If so, it seems that leaves only 1 bath for rest of hours which is also unappealing.
