OP, you're taking advice from a book and now you're crowdsourcing whether or not to bake brownies for a man you've been dating for 3 months.

I'd hate to see what other advice you're getting...poor guy will never know the real you.

My wife of almost 24 years baked for me early on in our relationship - a cake that we brought to my birthday celebration with a bunch of friends. It sealed the deal for me.

If he is overweight/obese it is a good idea. You aren't dating those authors. Go for it!

Lol - agree with baking for your self and sharing some. I like to bake too but can’t have a whole pan of brownies sitting in my house so it’s a win win.
