It felt like every one of my friends 10 years ago was having a Grace or a middle name Grace, but I think it's gone down in popularity since then. Regardless of popularity, I think it's a classic name that will always cycle in and out of common usage. It's a Sarah, not a trendy Nevaeh.

I love it. It would have been my daughter's name if my husband had liked it.

I was coming to say the same. I have a 7 and 5 year old and we haven’t met any kids named Grace! None in daycare, preschool, elementary school, activities, neighborhood, friend group. NONE. There are multiple: Nora, Claire, Lily, Eva/Ava/Evie, Ella/Ellie/Eleanor, Amelia.

I grew up with a bunch of Asian Americans named Grace in the 1990s/2000s (I'm also Asian). Not sure how popular it is today. It's a nice name IMO.

The only Graces I know personally are 10 and 40 years old. Oh, one girl who is 17.

The name was created by Puritans, so it refers to God's grace, not physical grace.

I met a two-year/old Grace this morning. I love the name Grace but it’s still popular.

+1. This is a family name for us and we love it.

Nothing wrong with Grace. It's been in circulation for a few hundred years now for good reason.

I have young kids (including a Grace) and have only ever met one other Grace their age. Beautiful name. Definitely doesn’t sound like Grease (?!).

We have a grace and we don’t know any other graces around her age. We love it so much. We were between Charlotte and Grace.

Like the PP said, if you love it, name your child Grace.
