What does your child do between 9pm and 10pm?

Both need to be totally ready for bed and in their rooms by 830. 10 year old is allowed to read or draw in bed until 9. 12 year old can do whatever (but no electronics) until 9 and then can read or draw in bed until 930.
Add 30 mins to those times on Friday and Saturday nights.
Your 12yr old middle schooler is in bed by 8:30pm? That seems so early. We have elementary school functions like concerts, science fair, etc.. that go beyond 8:30pm and my middle schooler has soccer from 6:30-8:30pm. They don't have to be up until 7:30am though.

Middle schoolers RARELY go to bed at 9pm. The amount of messages that comes through my daughters devices (plugged downstairs) from 9pm to midnight is unbelievable.
