Unless your baby has a medical issue that necessitates staying on formula at that age I don't see why not. Start to transition now so you don't have to do it suddenly. I found this article by Matt Yglaisas interesting (and yes I realize that many people hate him... I have no strong feelings towards him one way or another). Basically, in Canada parents are told to transition their babies to whole milk between 9-12 months, with that caveat that they are eating enough iron rich solids.
