But Little Sesame does a good riff on hummus. Zatinya has some Lebanese inspired items that are good. Mama Ayesha's is tasty. Sababa is passable middle eastern food.

Sorry. :/

There is always one in every thread. Yeah there’s no place that makes food as good as what I’m used to in my own home country but I still eat at restaurants.
OP I heard Zenola in Vienna is good.

OP asked for "Lebanese good" level food. It doesn't exist here. Sorry for the harsh truth.

Sure it does. Just not if you are so cultured as to have once gone to Lebanon. Lol.

Thanks but I've been there closer to 10-15 times. But you keep assuming my experiences.

But note that she’s not even from there, she’s just been there. Even worse!

PP here who has been there. The level of quality/expert preparation there vs in the DC area is just not comparable. I'm not a Lebanese food expert by any means, but the difference is just stark. The OP asked for "Lebanese good" which means something to the OP and I assumed it means quality and taste close to what you get in-country. No need to get all offended and clutch pearls over this.

For other cultural cuisines in the DC area, you can find places that are very close to what you experience in-country for things like French, Italian, etc. Not so for Lebanese food.

And FWIW, Lebanese Taverna was good 20 years ago and now it's just meh. Their pita is abominable.

There is a place called Olive Eatery in the ground floor of an office park in Ballston. Food is so good.

Lebanese taverna seems to have gone downhill. I want to like it but the food is hit or miss now, at least the one in Rockville town center.

Lebanese Taverna the sit down restaurant, or LebTav, the quick take out? We've been disappointed with LebTav lately, as much as we want to like them. Dry meat, just not great. I keep hoping it'll be better.

Cool. But we’re not in Lebanon.
