After your dog has cleaned the bone of all meat and marrow, the bone itself is a good chew toy. You can refill them with treats (e.g. peanut butter or yogurt) and freeze, or your dog can just continue to chew on the bare bone. Our heavy chewer loves them. Once cleaned off, they don't smell or create a mess.
