I don't know how many years ago these were planted, but there are tulips by my garage that have come up every year for 20 years, and before I was here the place was divided into apartments for decades. Periodically I dig up the bulbs in the fall and just move them around, divide if there are some to be divided. But when I have bought new tupids most of them do not return.

Voles like tulips but not daffodils.

My Angelique came back and I was so surprised and pleased!! This was just year 2, we will see what next year brings
