These factories were shut down by the government that was regulating them, so it's not capitalism. Capitalism would be you need to figure out on your own at this formula is safe or not.

Kids with rare diseases wont make a good servant class so no, it isnt a priority. Need to keep goods and services cheap.

I'm the PP. I think you can have a healthy capitalist economy with some safeguards built in to protect people--without being a "socialist" country. For example, most governments in advanced societies negotiate with drug manufacturers on drug prices to ensure that their citizens can afford medication. Take insulin as an example. We pay more--WAY more--than any other people in the world for insulin. Other countries with a capitalist economy pay far less. Why can't we have both--capitalism and a government that ensures we have access to affordable medication, especially for common chronic diseases like diabetes?

Its really not as rare as you think. Not in cumulative. If you take all the "rare" kids who need special formula and put them together then it isnt a small number of kids.

Absolutely. And anyone who is pro life had better support this, regardless of how they feel about Democrats.

The specialty formulas for people (not just infants BTW) with rare health conditions have been the most affected, but regular powdered formula is getting hard to find too.
