Dumplings are their speciality, and they hand-wrap all the dumplings to order. I’ve never experienced terrible service there or been asked to tip more. But when I go to Chinese restaurants I go for the food, not the service. (I’m Chinese.)
+1 A&J only has potstickers/guotie, no boiled dumplings/shuijiao. While Bob's does have pork and leek/jiucai dumplings, dumplings aren't really a Shanghai item and you're better off ordering the xiaolongbao. Like a good Northeast/Dongbei dumpling house, China Bistro offers nearly two dozen fillings with pork, chicken or beef and a variety of vegetables plus fish and shrimp and vegetarian options.
