I was just going to say the same about STDs. That's basically the only reason I'd discourage first date sex and condoms don't protect against all infection. Other than that there's nothing inherently wrong with first date sex or later.

I'm a little concerned that op doesn't know how to feel about it. Leads me to believe he/ she is having sex not because they really want to.

The first and third date sex boggles me just because you take their word they are std and hpv free and you know almost nothing about them. You don't stop and think they probably did this for every date with another person before you.
