His comments yesterday should be cited by this new board as disinformation.
Anyone who believes the border is being "effectively managed" is living in a world of disinformation.

And who determines what’s disinformation?
Well I guess that’s the point. You are questioning facts, as Putin intended.
Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Why are conservatives upset that DHS is attempting to fight disinformation?
Because Republicans rely on disinformation as an electoral strategy.
Pretend you are correct, but you are not.
When Republicans take White House and congress, which they will as things always go back and forth.
They can use the “Board” to kill any proper information against them and censor the left. Now it becomes a tool of propaganda for Republicans if they hold government.
So this board seems like a good idea right now when Dems hold Presidency, but what happens when they lose the White House???
Imagine if when Trump was president, he had control over a board like this????
Does that sound like a good idea?????

So what will be amazing is when Republican take the White House,
They can use the board to stop the spread of “disinformation” from the Democrats side. Like for example, there is no problem at the border, etc….
I can see both parties using this to hurt the opposite side…

They are going to claim that this board is designed to stop foreign adversaries from spreading misinformation so that anyone who opposes it can be called a Putin puppet.
They will say this is about protecting our elections so that anyone who opposes it can be accused of wanting to rig elections.
Then the icing on the cake? They will continue to label people's opinions as misinformation. We all know that an opinion can't be misinformation, but they'll just change the definition or move goal posts like they always do.
