Sounds like your friends have crappy priorities and/or are just trying to “punish” the school or teachers in a hissy fit.


The first year of this might be a little rough, but after school sports times will shift to accommodate. Announcing that they’ll show up early to pull their kids every day rather than see how it goes is … obnoxious.

I'd agree with that.
Second option, add the ten minutes to lunch or the mascot period to give students more time to do whatever they need to do.

10 minutes is an accounting trick to make APS compare more favorably with other districts and have a better cushion for snow days. The best argument in favor of it in this thread is to possibly give kids more time between classes.
