I’ve bought 3 cars from various Fitzgerald dealerships and I like them. I also know Jack Fitzgerald (old family friend), and he’s a good guy.
Ourisman and DARCARS have been the worst in my experience. I literally walked out of their Toyota dealership in Rockville mid-purchase after they kept trying to pressure me into stuff I didn’t want ($1,600 “stain preventer” treatment, “supplemental” undercoating, etc). I warned them twice. The third time they brought it up I got up and walked away without another word.
Another one for Fitzgerald. They probably have the best reputation in the DMV for no-nonsense sales and the best prices.
I will say that Subaru is probably one of the only car brands that are not marking up beyond MSRP during the entire pandemic and post-pandemic time period.

We shopped around for our first BMW and end up at BMW of Sterling. They beat passport by about 1k, but some of the others in the area were about 15% higher priced. I'd be easier to work with too if I could charge that much more than my competition.
