I really liked them too. Not sure if its still this way but the sales guy told us that they are salaried and not based on commission. So I never felt like he was trying to upsell me.

Koons Jeep and Koons Toyota in Tyson’s were painless transactions, very competitive pricing, straightforward financing and no back and forth.

Contact internet sales for three of four dealers of the brand. Tell them you want their best out-the-door price for the model with the equipment you want. Let them know you want their “best and final.” You may want to look at dealerships within a 100 miles or so for more savings.

Bear in mind that Maryland caps dealer processing fees at $500. You may not necessarily get the best price by insisting that you’re paying cash because the manufacturer’s financing often pays an origination fee to the dealer. You can pay the loan off within a couple of days if that’s what you want to do. Otherwise try to arrange you own financing through the a credit union or your bank and leverage that interest rate as part of the deal.

A broker is another option to save time and likely money.

We have bought three cars from Fitzgerald. No haggle pricing and the price couldn’t be beat. They do not sell Honda, so we bought our Honda Pilot at Joyce Koons in Manassas. I just asked tons of dealers for their best price for an immediate purchase and theirs was by far the best, with extra perks like free concierge service.

We shopped around for our first BMW and end up at BMW of Sterling. They beat passport by about 1k, but some of the others in the area were about 15% higher priced. I'd be easier to work with too if I could charge that much more than my competition.

We got one BMW from Sterling, then when we went to buy a new car, switched to Passport for the next BMW. Passport comes and picks up your car wherever you are in the DMV for service and drops off a loaner for free. That won us over. So much more convenient.

NOT Darcars. They will claim one price and then start adding in strange fees on to of strange fees. Walked out. Good riddance.
