25-27 isn't actually that young to be married. 31-36 is on the older side depending on how many kids you hope to have and how quickly you want to pop them out.

Pandemic played a factor, people don’t want to loose good partners.

I think of getting married young more as 22 or younger.

Mormons are often good looking and affluent. Do they still marry their cousins?

No.

PP here. Meant that exburban & rural women, regardless of their SES and especially if they’re religious, tend to marry earlier.

For some reason, I am being bombarded with SEC college student proposals on my Instagram discover page.

It’s an urban vs rural thing.

But if you’re talking about the Nicola Peltz thread?

A lot of people have more free time to date in college than they’ll have again for many years.

In my culture, women tend to marry between 20-25 and men 25-29 but new trend is marrying between 28-34 for both genders.

It seems young rich people now are more willing to marry and have children earlier.

Depends on how rich, and how religious they are.

Also, marrying young does not mean having kids immediately.

This^, religion and affluence matter and marrying isn’t for immediate procreation.

In my circles, the people most desirable generally married earlier, ie 25-28. Anybody who was still wanting to get married after 35 had some issues.

The only people I know who married very young are children of some Mormon friends we have, and seemingly all of the children in their extended family. Yes, they are all wealthy (and blonde, good-looking, and super nice: how are all Mormons like this?).

Not so common for the middle class.

Middle class cannot afford to marry until 35.
