Btw what kind of monster has a long convo with teachers at drop off while other parents are waiting behind so they can get to work? Why do the teachers allow this?
Then enjoy your wait outside everyday.Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Then raise the issue to your daycare for a new drop off procedure. Op here. No typically people sign in and go in the building-it's literally a couple seconds. The problem is the people who are waiting are also still dropping off with a staff member instead of waking to the classroom. And then it's most parents so they are waiting until the person in front of them-is walking back out before going in. Basically it was a non-issue before Covid. It's adding considerable time to each drop off now because of the extra steps.
Op here. I have had 4 kids go through this daycare. It literally never takes long enough to cause any kind of wait during normal times. It's the multitude of added steps the Covid extra people are adding that is causing the issue. The entire sign in process takes less than 5 seconds. The sign in isn't causing the issue. Like I said, I know this because I have had 4 kids go through this daycare and it's never been an issue. It's only been an issue since Covid.
