Subject: Does it bother you when people bring up “country privilege” (living in a developed country) to try
Which developed country is more racist:
Japan or the U.S.?
Australia or the U.S.?
France or the U.S.?
Germany or the U.S.?
Spain or the U.S.?
Think hard before you answer and do some research. I think you’ll find the U.S. leads the way in anti-racism. Sure, there is still a ways to go, but we are miles ahead. Anyhow, if you’re black, (or even better, black and Muslim) go live in one of those countries for a year and report back please.

It isn’t, because we should not compare ourselves to undeveloped countries, and because they’ll say “I immigrated from here from XYZ country with $0” (completely ignoring how hard it is to immigrate legally nowadays).
It's always been hard to immigrate legally. You are discounting the experience of people with much broader worldview, who are qualified to compare the US with their country of origin.
I don’t know if immigrating from another country automatically means you have a much broader worldview. My in laws have the world view of their one city in a foreign country and five years in a small US town. I don’t think that trumps Americans who have travelled/studied/worked abroad.
