But if I did eat bread, I’d buy the best that I could find to suit the task. Often, for me, that would be that rye bread from Germany that looks like a brick, and they sell that at the grocery store.
It’s kind of sad when someone has to bolster their self worth not just by consumerism and denigrating strangers, but by focusing their shallow efforts on bread. I’m reminded here that one does not live by bread alone. OP, do you have any thoughts on jam, butter, or hummus that you’d like to share?
