DP. No, they don't "gotta admit" anything. OP can realize that those things are going on and still have questions about his kid's day to day life. Do you have anything to actually contribute or did you just want to do your joke?

I think your daughter needs to “ become a fan” of packing her own lunch the night before. Our school ( K-8) contracts with the lunchbox program. It’s all a la carte and you preorder online. Can do the week or just a day. I would say there are probably 10ish entree options with various add ons. Some things are on their every day and some things rotate.

Because the other parents want their kids to develop a mildly sophisticated palate...and the upper school is more expensive
Oh dear Lord, relying on your kids high school to give them a “sophisticated palate” is absurd.
NP but nobody said “relying on.” My kids get fairly sophisticated food at home and I don’t want them to be fed with slop at school.
