“There Is No Place For You Here” by fiona hill is fascinating and timely

I also liked Holly Madison’s Down the Rabbit Hole about living in the playboy mansion

Loved “How to Murder Your Life”. Cat grew up in MoCo - a train wreck but she owns it.

I went through a major memoir phase. These were my favorites in random order:

- Jackie’s Girl (Jacqueline Kennedy’s personal maid/assistant, fascinating)
- The Girl With Seven Names (a woman’s escape from North Korea)
- Katie Couric’s memoir (not crazy about her, super interesting book)
- Andy Cohen’s diaries (fun and lots of tea)
- The Other Side of The Coin by Angela Kelly (the Queen’s dresser and closest aide of like 30 years, written with the Queen’s consent)
- Jason Priestly’s memoir (surprisingly good)
- Top of the Rock by Warren Littlefield (former President of NBC who basically created Must-See TV)
- Sebastian Bach’s memoir (I was not familiar with him or Skid Row, but it was a great read)
- A Mother’s Reckoning by Sue Klebold (mother of Columbine killer Dylan Klebold)
- Without You by Anthony Rapp (original Mark from RENT)
- How to Murder Your Life by Cat Marnell
- Come to the Edge by Christina Haag (longtime girlfriend of John Kennedy Jr.)
- Diary of a Stage Mother’s Daughter by Melissa Francis (former child actor)

I'm not a big memoir reader, but I did like Tina Fey's. Funny yet also somewhat thoughtful.

Jessica Simpson's and Shania Twain's memoirs were both fairly juicy, clearly written by the women themselves and not ghostwritten, and full of new-to-me details, since I wasn't a superfan of either. The end of Shania's marriage in particular was bonkers. Very beach-read-ish.

I second the PP who suggested Rob Lowe's Stories I Only Tell My Friends. A fun vacation read if you are Gen X (or are a Gen X aficionado) If you like SNL, I would recommend Amy Poehler and Rachel Dratch's memoirs in addition to Tina Fey's Bossy Pants.

On a serious note, I loved Fairyland: A Memoir of My Father by Alicia Abbott. It really impacted me emotionally and it was very well written.
