What will you buy instead? What styles do you like?

I'll keep an eye out for something that's high quality but without the "name" on the front. I don't mind a slight imprinted logo, but nothing big. I really only shop at places like Nordstrom Rack and TJ Maxx though so I'll have to branch out. I'm not in any hurry.

Here’s my last ditch effort to persuade you to keep it:

You won’t find anything at TJ Maxx that will be as high quality and sturdy as KS unless it’s slightly damaged.

I think Nordstrom Rack might have KS (maybe not).

This, exactly. And I work at the handbag section in Nordstrom.

Agree with all of this. I started buying Kate Spade back in the 90's as a teen and yes, then you had to buy it at Saks and it was "on trend." I think they've actually successfully just moved into the sort of middle market, where you won't get fashionista points but they're....solid. I have multiple designer bags, but my "travel bag" I've had for probably 10 years is Kate Spade and it has held up wonderfully. It's not trendy, but....they didn't go full Coach. I have wonderful vintage Coach and it's a travesty what they did to that brand.

I’m 40. I only really have Kate spade bags. I have a black for winter and a cream for spring. I like classic, preppy looks and I find this brand is the best quality and reasonably affordable for that look. I stick with classic shapes and colors
And avoid their stuff that’s weird. I guess I don’t care if I am
Not fashionable, they are nice bags and they look nice. I
Once tried to switch brands and bought a cuyana bag and didn’t like it.

If you like it and its fits your style, go for it. Who cares what anyone thinks.

The same could be said of LV, yet you continue to swear by your tacky patterned Neverfull.

I really don't think you can go wrong with Kate Spade. They are pretty classic. Rich women on here will tell you they are for young people, but they are affordable, good quality, and long lasting.

I am older and can afford more expensive bags but I do not think they are worth it. I have a few KS bags that I like and still use them.

I work as a government contractor. I alternate between a a lot of pursed. Leather, brands that aren’t obvious. I would love to call my style boho chic. Lol.

What do you carry now?

How old are you?

What’s your profession?
