The XC90 OP and I are waiting for is being made in the Volvo factory in Torslanda, Sweden. Chinese investment and money are everywhere in car production. Mercdes Benz also has a Chinese partner. Don't understand why saying Chinese-owned is supposed to be a put-down when the company has kept its company integrity, Swedish culture, and aesthetic.
Because it might be hard to get parts in the future when you need them?
