OSU is a marginally weaker school and materially less diverse, but still pretty good on both counts and it's closer; also a tough but plausible admit. I'd say the same about Penn State. Miami (OH) is a likely admit and maybe a good fit. Temple, too, if the preference is for urban.

NP. For Penn State OP’s kid would be told to go to a satellite campus first at that GPA.
