That's not why the "far left" doesn't trust them. It's because they've put out inaccurate information as fact rather than say "we don't know yet." Once you lose credibility, it takes time to earn it back.

You should really wait. I heard a dr interviewed yesterday that you don't want to get it too early and the timing needs to be right to avoid immunity fatigue because frequent boosters can cause this, so if I were you, i'd wait. I am happy to get a 4th shot, but I want it to be effective.

What? Based on what data do you make that proclamation? Please provide data showing that getting a 4th shot will somehow make the OP less likely to transmit Covid.

Vaccinated/Boosted individuals can still catch and transmit Covid.

The OP is not ‘safer’ to be around simply because she is boosted.

If guidance changes for my age group/health status, I'll be there the next day. But since I'm not particularly high-risk, I doubt that such a recommendation will be made before fall.

Exception: If I need an additional shot to qualify for international travel, I'll get it.

I think it actually makes sense to do it now while the next wave is taking shape so your body will be ready when it hits. It takes a couple weeks for the protection to kick in. CDC is so reactionary and will recommend too late.

I'm a healthy adult but live with someone who is high risk.

My doctor agrees that I should get the 4th shot. I'll be doing that soon.
