Changing gears is a minor adjustment. Turns will blow your mind until you adjust.

I always bring a post-it with the turns into each lane type drawn out (ie, left turn is tight, right turn is wide) and stick that on the steering wheel. So when I’m at the intersection I can look down and see which lane I should be aiming for.
