Get a grip or get a new job.
Lol you say this as 99% of DCUM have been hybrid or working from home since the pandemic began.
How many of you have told your bosses the pandemic is over and asked to return to the office full-time??
You're comparing apples and oranges. This pandemic has shown that there's no real need for your typical office worker to come into the office all the time.
People who can't do their job effectively (such as teachers) or at all (such as grocery workers) are a different story.
Well we’ve always known that there was no need for the worker at the typical DC dogsht nonprofit to have a job at all so if they can do make work from home instead of clogging up the roads for the rest of us that fine. And the “That’s Not My Jobs” in DC government working from home seems fine also.

But, you can't enforce a vaccine mandate at schools when that many students don't comply. You just can't.
They'll comply when it's mandatory.

On a sidenote: What more is *DCPS* supposed to do to encourage vaccinations? That doesn't seem like it's something that DCPS should do. The health dept., sure.
They will be mandated for the next school year, if fully FDA approved by then. Until then, doubt things will change much.
And lose 50% of the student body? Yeah, right.
How does that work? 50% elect to homeschool?

They could do more vaccine clinics at schools, for example.
But will that DO anything? It seems like the people that aren't getting vaxxed have made their choice. You can get DC to come to your house to vax you, even. If people aren't doing that....then I don't think setting up an ADDITIONAL clinic is going to get people to get vaccinated.
