I have a Bonavita, which is lower profile and a little less expensive than a Moccamaster while producing equally good coffee. We also love our Moccamaster. A high-quality grinder is essential too.

Any alternatives that take beans and grind single serve? We are looking to replace the espresso as the pods have gone up in price by a lot.
