My friends who see one all love their chiropractors. I have never been to one.

if I did, I would go to Charlotte Jensen mentioned above. 2 of my friends see her.

Chiropractors are all quacks and failed doctors. It’s not actual evidence based medicine. I cannot believe people trust that nonsense in this day and age. They also sometimes seriously injure people with their “adjustments” like severing arteries in the neck. I would never trust them to flip a baby.

My sister tried everything and ended with a c section for her first and a VBAC for her 2nd. Her 1st apparently had a short umbilical cord so that could have been the reason she didn’t flip.

They are all vaccinated with good COvid precautions at Chiro Group/ Dr. Andrino’s place.

If you see one, make sure your OB is aware and okay with it.

And also it's okay to have a c-section. They're fine. My babies didn't flip and we're all good (10 and 12 now both in FCPS AAP).

+1. I'd stop short of calling my c-section awesome, but it was fine. There's something to be said for the ease of going into this on a schedule.

I was aiming for an unmedicated birth, but by the end, just wanted to deliver a healthy baby, and that's what I got.

I don’t know what you’re picturing, but the chiropractor doesn’t do anything to move the baby. They just strategically help mom stretch and loosen tight muscles to give baby more room. Chiropractic adjustments are different when you’re pregnant. There are no extreme movements. It may not get baby to turn, but it’s not dangerous if you’re seeing a chiropractor with certification to work on pregnant women.

OP, I had a very stubborn breech. I tried everything to, from old wives tale type things like lying upside down with a hot pack and a cold pack, Spinning babies, to ECV. So much stress over something I couldn’t change.

I ended up with a C Section and it was really an awesome experience.

She's certified in Webster technique. I used her for that exact reason around 34 weeks and baby did end up turning head down. Her office is located in North Bethesda.

Dr Andrino is the best in the biz. He can flip babies.

I tried everything even a chiro to turn my baby and nothing worked.

I didn't do an ECV because my midwife said trust the baby. In the end it turned out DD was stuck under my ribs with the cord around her neck twice. She could not move and ECV would have been dangerous.

I would let things be - if spinning babies techniques don't work, trust your baby.

My SIL had the procedure ( in hospital with epidural with plan that if they needed to emergently deliver they would) and it worked.... and then baby flipped back! But then she unturned herself in the remaining days before delivery and no c-section.

Before 36 weeks the baby will probably return to its breech position even if the procedure is successful. It’s too early to worry about breech position.

I would never do this without at the very least monitoring of the baby and a scan showing that the cord isn’t wrapped around any part of the body.
