Your hockey tournaments had hundreds of unmasked kids in each event for 8 straight hours? I kind of doubt that.

I’m going to hazard a guess the meet at issue was the junior/senior champs at UMD, and since it’s a high level meet and spectators haven’t been allowed in for 2 years, I can see why multiple family members wanted to be there. If your kid qualified they are a serious swimmer and it’s a big deal, it’s not like some God awful 4 hour summer swim B meet.
