Did I miss a memo and there are shortages again or are you all just posting random purchases?

OP, make a cous cous salad next time you have a party as a side. And make it once a week for lunches. It will be gone in a few months.

A little bit of couscous goes a LONG way. I make Moroccan lamb couscous with vegetables every few weeks, and will sometimes use couscous in lieu of rice (which I don’t like), but I can’t imagine using 11 pounds of the stuff before it goes bad (whenever that is). But more power to you if it works for your family.

LOL. I hope they remember the lesson when they take econ in college!

Every few weeks, CVS has a deal if you spend $30 on P+G products, you get $10 back or if you spend $20 you get $5 back. So, I will do that + load manufacturing coupons on top so I end up getting most paper products + Tide virtually free.

Hbut OP, I do not buy food in bulk-- we would never eat that much.

What are you making? How do you keep those little moths out that much flour?

I'm a former pastry chef. I closed my shop during the pandemic. I store flour in food grade buckets and in the freezer. Have never had a problem with any sort of moths etc. Even without my bakery, flour doesn't stick around for long in my house. I'm about to order 20 more lbs. of white whole wheat flour this week.
