My principal isn't like that, but thanks. She already knows. We all met on Friday and came up with a plan to deal with this parent.

I know they behaved badly, but maybe have some compassion? Usually when people lose it like this there’s more going on than the situation at hand. I’m not defending what they did, obviously we should try to contain ourselves, just suggesting we all make mistakes and have really really bad days, months, years.


Screaming or shouting at staff to the point they feel afraid the parent is going to find out where they live and harm them at home is not deserving of compassion. I don't care what else is happening, it's not okay.

Sounds like your admin should’ve handled this better. Going forward, there’s no way I’d have any interactions with these parents without another staff member present.
