I'm pp above who recommended CES - the well known k-8 schools follow the typical applications cycle and can be quite competitive. Sure, give them a call...but by no means should you expect there to be an abundance of open spots. These schools are highly sought after.

+1 on this recommendation. We know friends who were very happy there with their child. They are not in the typical "applications grind" cycle as other schools.
